As the country waits to learn the fate of ex Minneapolis cop Derek Chauvin in the killing of George Floyd, Safaree used this timing to call attention to a separate conversation about violence surrounding the recent fatal shooting of a 7-year-old girl in Chicago.
Jaslyn Adams was gunned down Sunday afternoon while in the car with her dad at a Chicago McDonald’s drive-thru. Her dad survived the shooting and remains hospitalized in serious condition.
A McDonald’s employee says that two men jumped out of another car and approached Jaslyn and her dad before the men fired multiple gunshots inside of their car. Jaslyn was shot multiple times and her dad was shot in the torso.
The heartbreaking story had left many questioning who could purposely fire on a child.
