Drake Replies To Grammys Snubbing Controversy: ‘I Think We Should Stop Allowing Ourselves To Be Shocked Every Year’ – The Shade Room

The music sector has been in a funk about these Grammy nominations that were announced Tuesday. Everyone and their mama had something to say about the academy snubbing artists this year and in spite of Drake being a nominee himself, he decided to add his two cents to the controversy.
To be blunt, followers were just certain The Weeknd’s “After Hours” would be nominated for Album of the Year but no one expected a complete shut out. 
Other greatly popular artists who saw commercial and critical success but secured little to no nominations included Lil Baby and Nicki Minaj. Not to mention, not a single woman was nominated for R&B Album of the year.

Social media has been abuzz about these snubs and Drake, who has garnered two nominations for his single “Laugh Now, Cry Later,” broke his silence today about the Grammys.
