1. Carmen Miranda’s Last Performance
Performed on the Jimmy Durante show on August 4 1955. At the end of her performance (24:02) she briefly dropped to her knee but popped back up afterwards. She died of a massive heart attack the same night at the tender age of 46.
2. The Adventures of Milo and Otis
The film is a live action movie about a dog and a cat. Apparently, the filmmakers abused the animals, even killed some in order to get their shot. One example of the alleged abuse is a kitten whose paw was intentionally broken to appear limp in the movie.
The production also had the approval of the American Human Society, which apparently never showed up to the set in the first place.
3. Regular Nightly Performance
This band was performing in a Thai bar and moments later the whole place catches on fire, killing 60 people including the band’s members.
What’s even more chilling is that the band’s name was ‘Burn’ and the song in the performance is a cover of Linkin Park’s ‘In The End’.
4. Tommy Cooper
Tommy Cooper’s performances were comprised of elements that would intentionally go wrong for a comedic effect. So, when he collapsed dead on stage because of a heart attack, no one thought it was real.
5. Runaway Train
The thought of having a child’s innocence taken away is terrifying. Soul Asylum’s classic rock ballad “Runaway Train” features missing children and young adults who were later found to be murdered by serial killers.
The upside to the tragedy is that the video also helped in having 26 ‘runaway’ children later be found. The comments to the video are both bleak and hopeful, so please proceed at your own risk.
6. Russian Influencer
Didenko Katerina, a spoiled Russian Instagram ‘influencer’, decided that the best way to to celebrate her birthday would be to dump 25 kg of dry ice into a pool for the ‘cool smoking effects’.
Choking among the swimmers immediately ensued, followed by a loss of consciousness and death. Didenko is still marketing her lavish lifestyle and pharmaceutical subscription boxes on Instagram to this day.
What’s worse is that one of the victims was her own husband, which she got over quickly with a new side-man in the span of only two months.
7. Seattle Suitcase Murders
These girls were filming a Tik Tok video when they encountered a mysterious suitcase on a bed of large rocks by the sea.
They opened the suitcase and upon smelling the foulest of odors coming from the suspicious bag inside, they called the cops. Turns out they were dismembered bodies.
8. Tears in Heaven – Eric Clapton
It’s a song written to his 4 1/2 year old son who died after falling 53 stories out an apartment window that had accidentally been left open.
9. Peanut Butter Jelly Time
The guy who recorded the catchy tune was killed in a standoff with police and Snoop Dogg – his brother in law – tried to de-escalate him during the incident.
